What is a pathway programme?
Pathway programme is a programme designed to help you for higher education studies and degrees. The programme is useful if you did not meet entry requirements, changed your mind about your study course, or do not have the required language skill. You could enrol pathway programme at your chosen institution if one is available. The programme is offered by education companies and universities such as Kaplan International, ONCAMPUS Global, INTO University Partnerships, Navitas, and many others. Pathway programme is tailored for undergraduate degree courses. A pathway programme cannot be studied as a stand-alone degree but created specifically to lead you onto a degree programme.
If you wish to pursue a postgraduate degree but do not meet the entry requirements, or undergraduates with one subject enrolled now want to change to postgraduate degree, or master’s degree requirement for certain subjects to be studied earlier are not met, taking pre-master is a good option to pursue your study. Pre- master is helpful for students whose undergraduate degree result do not meet the entry requirement. It also shortens the time for you to meet the requirements.
There are also preparation courses that are perfect for those who do not meet the English language requirement for the chosen degree. These programmes can be offered as stand-alone programme, or as a combination with a pathway programmes or pre-master programme.
